A talented and extremely versatile actress, writer and musician, Susy’s career spans film, theatre, TV and radio. Her theatre work ranges from Shakespeare to musicals but she is perhaps best known for her work in TV comedy.
Susy has appeared and guest starred in numerous award-winning and critically acclaimed TV shows and worked alongside some of the greatest names in comedy in both the UK and USA.
Her appearances include The IT Crowd, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, The Thick of It, Saxondale, Gavin and Stacey, White Van Man, Mongrels, The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff, Misfits, TV drama Hattie and Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s Emmy nominated Extras Christmas Special.
Susy has written, directed and starred in a series of comedy shorts for Funny Or Die and her viral sketch Lady Of The Lake was chosen to feature on the front page of Chortle. She has written for numerous sketch shows on radio and TV including BBC’s award winning Harry and Paul and The Wrong Door.
An accomplished musician, she has been a regular on the live music circuit, performing as a singer, pianist and violinist since her teens. She has recorded on a number of albums including playing gypsy fiddle for Charlotte Church’s Tissues for Issues.
Susy is well-known to Radio 4 listeners as Pippa in the award winning and long-running radio series Bleak Expectations for Radio 4, and stars with Peter Serafinowicz in Helen Keen’s radio series It Is Rocket Science, also for Radio 4.
