Gamble

About

Peacock and Gamble have both appeared twice on Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Three), both as stand-ups and as a double act. They remain the only acts to have made repeat appearances on the show.

The duo presented several shows for BBC Radio 4 Extra's The Comedy Club in 2011 and were recently confirmed as regular hosts on the show.

Ray Peacock initially hosted the Ray Peacock Podcast, with Ed as co-host, which led to the hugely popular Peacock and Gamble Podcast. Several series and 85 episodes of this cult podcast were recorded, including numerous recordings in front of a live audience. The duo also received a Chortle Award nomination for the Peacock and Gamble Podcast and it was included in the Guardian's Top Ten Comedy Podcasts. Peacock and Gamble also starred in the short film Warm Up for BBC Comedy Online.

Peacock and Gamble made their Edinburgh Festival debut in 2011 with Peacock and Gamble Emergency Broadcast, which was subsequently taken on a national UK tour. The pair will make a return to Edinburgh in 2012 with their new show, Peacock and Gamble Don't Even Want To Be On Telly Anyway alongside their Chortle sponsored daily podcast which will run for the duration of the festival.

They will be taking their Edinburgh show on tour later this year.
