About
Brian’s background is unique for a comedic writer/performer. He attended Fountain Valley High School, a magnet school for the arts. His dedication and natural inclination to performing led to a scholarship at Chapman University, where he excelled and was principal percussionist his freshman year. After two years he was granted a performance-based scholarship at the University of Southern California, where he finished his Bachelor’s Degree and continued, on full scholarship, to receive a Master’s Degree in musical performance.
Throughout his secondary education, Brian balanced his studies with a successful professional career in music, playing with such acts as John Williams, John Denver, Julio Iglesias, and the L.A. Classical Ballet, amassing crucial performance experience.
Even while performing as a musician, Brian continuously wrote comedy with the intent to ultimately bring his talents as a comedic performer/writer to the forefront.
Today, Brian writes and performs on the hit series, Spike TV, The Joe Schmo Show, produced by Stone/Stanley Entertainment. He is also currently in an over-all deal with Spike TV to develop new series and consult on the network’s specials such as The Video Game Awards(hosted by David Spade) and Spike's 52 Hottest Holiday Gifts, both airing this December. Previously, Brian was a writer and performer on the Fox Sports Network’s Emmy-nominated comedy/variety show, The Best Damn Sports Show Period. He has also been appeared on Comedy Central’s stand-up series, Premium Blend, and has recently completed Level 4 of the prestigious Groundlings Improv Program.
Brian continues to perform stand-up and sketches regularly in the Los Angeles area.
