BBC New Comedy Award semi-finalist Jen Brister is fast developing a reputation as one of the most exciting emerging talents as a stand-up and presenter. Jen has written and performed in numerous sketch teams as well as fearlessly going it alone with her brave and masterfully crafted one woman show ‘Me, My Mum & I’
Jen recently enjoyed great reviews for the Edinburgh Fringe show, ‘Reception’ which she co-wrote and performed with her comedy partner Clare Warde. The Sunday Times applauded its “Bold sketches, surreal ideas and slick banter…keep an eye out” whilst The Stage highlighted “Two natural comic actors, the duo have an assured style and strong rapport that recalls the best of French and Saunders. This is one female double act that definitely deserves a promotion.”
Jen’s radio credits include the ‘Weekend Overnight Show’ and the ‘Weekend Breakfast Show’ and ‘Cloud Cuckoo Land’ BBC 6 Music.
