A truly inventive comic, Anna Crilly, joined the circuit bravely presenting a unique form of surreal comedy, uncompromised by conformity.
Anna is one half of Penny Spubb with fellow comedienne Katy Wix, who have been tipped as the next “French and Saunders”. Their show Penny Spubb's Party debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and received nominations for The Writers Guild Award and The Best Double Act at the festival. The duo has gone on to appear in both series of Comedy Shuffle series one and two (BBC Three) and Comedy Cuts (ITV1).
Anna will be returning for the third series of Lead Balloon and the second series of Touch Me I'm Karen Taylor. Some of her other credits include, Extras, Time Trumpet (BBC Two) and Sketchy for CBBC.
