His one-man shows include Richard Herring Is Fat, Richard Herring Is All Man, Christ On A Bike, Talking Cock, Someone Likes Yoghurt, menage a un and most recently Oh Fuck I'm 40. His hugely successful riposte to The Vagina Monologues; Talking Cock, has had versions performed in Paris, Berlin, Rome, Antwerp, Oslo and Helsinki. Ebury Press has also published a book version of Talking Cock which is due to be re-printed in 2008. With Al Murray, Richard devised and wrote 37 episodes of the sitcom Time Gentlemen Please (Sky One/Paramount) for Al's alter ego The Pub Landlord. He also wrote and starred in the comedy drama You Can Choose Your Friends (ITV) In 2008 Richard wrote and recorded a third series of That Was Then This Is Now (BBC Radio 2), returned as a regular panelist for the third series of Banter (BBC Radio 4) and toured nationally with his Edinburgh 2007 show Oh Fuck I'm 40.
