Karl wrote the Radio 4 hit Rapid Eye Movement earning him a nomination for The Douglas Adams Award for Radio Comedy. Starring Martin Freeman & Chris Langham, the series quickly became a cult-hit, earning rave reviews and running for three series.
In 2006 Karl wrote the BBC show Moonmonkeys, which was broadcast as a one off in spring 2007. In 2007 Karl was named Regional Columnist of the Year at the EDF Energy Press Awards, for his weekly column in The Norwich Evening News.
Most recently Karl has written two episodes for T-rexx and Flipside a new BBC3 sitcom, for which he was also the series Script Consultant and is working on a new pilot for BBC3.
