Sparks fly and for a few seconds the crowd can't believe their cool is under such brutal assault, then the place explodes and everything changes.

The man in the booth raining down this ferocious mix is Mark Vidler whose musical ingenuity in this guise has only recently exposed beyond the similarly minded bedroom mashers, file sharers and other underground white labelist bootleggers who originally championed the movement. Vidler takes great records and grafts the body work of one onto the chassis of another in a way that provides familiarity and surprise never known before. However Mark is by no means a new comer to the industry and under his Go Home Productions moniker has remixed for artists as diverse as David Bowie, Alicia Keys and Kasabian. As a live DJ Vidler builds his audience into a frenzy broaching all flavours the electronic music spectrum. Intertwining 90s acid house synths, nu-electro grooves, splurts of mashed-up indie, D&B and bursting breaks all add to his buzz.
