It was announced today (23rd March 2010) that RUSSELL HOWARD is to embark on a brand new arena tour, Right Here, Right Now, which will see the comic perform at some of the country’s biggest venues, including the O2 Arena. Following on from 2009’s 10-date total sell-out Big Rooms & Belly Laughs the new stand up tour starts in spring 2011. Tickets will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 26th March, but fans who have registered through RUSSELL’S website - www.russell-howard.co.uk - will be able to get advance tickets from 9am on Wednesday 24th March.

In addition to his live work, RUSSELL has his own BBC Three show, Russell Howard’s Good News, which starts its second series this week. The hit show’s debut run was the most requested BBC Three programme on iPlayer last year, and the channel’s most successful studio-based entertainment show ever, drawing in 2.5 million viewers a week. RUSSELL also has two bestselling DVDs to his name, 2008’s Russell Howard Live and 2009’s Russell Howard Live - Dingledodies, both of which were the fifth highest selling stand up titles of their respective years.

RUSSELL is a regular on Mock The Week (BBC Two's highest rating comedy show, which has seen viewing figures of over 5 million per week), and has twice appeared on Live At The Apollo (BBC ONE) alongside some of the biggest names in comedy. This year he cycled from John O’Groats to Lands End for Sport Relief as part of a team which included DAVID WALLIAMS, JIMMY CARR, and MIRANDA HART.
