EDINBURGH 2010: CHRIS RAMSEY - 'AGGROPHOBIC'

The last year has seen CHRIS RAMSEY, star of last year’s Comedy Zone, support RUSSELL KANE and LEE MACK on tour, appear on Russell Howard’s Good News and sign-up to support AL MURRAY - THE PUB LANDLORD on his brand new autumn tour. This summer, the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2009 nominee and Chortle Student Comedian of the Year finalist brings his debut solo stand-up show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Do you fear the worst when a stranger in the street approaches? Had one too many run-ins with angry members of the public? Ever been stared at for ages on the bus, then glanced at the offender only to be angrily asked what are YOU staring at?

CHRIS desperately tries to avoid situations like this, and will do anything to get out of a fight " whatever the consequences (even though he is a Geordie and by rule of thumb should love a good scrap). But despite his best endeavours he seems to constantly find himself in the middle of them.

Aggrophobic sees CHRIS explain how he deals with this terrible affliction, and how a seemingly ‘aggro’ situation can turn out to be what you least expected...

Ends

“Effervescent as potassium and brighter.”
Owen Amos, Northern Echo

“Sharp and quick tongued.”
Natasha Tripney, The Stage
