RUSSELL HOWARD today (Thursday 23rd February) announces a run of very special live shows in aid of charity next month.

Kicking off the run at the Bath Komedia on the 12th March before taking to the stages at London’s Lyric and Bloomsbury Theatres, Russell will be hosting the three nights inviting special guest stars to join him in raising money for BARNARDO’S, CHANCE TO GROW and the BATH RUGBY FOUNDATION. Tickets are on sale now.

The three nights follow hot on the heels of RUSSELL’s triple extended, sell-out nationwide arena tour, Right Here, Right Now which saw RUSSELL perform 27 dates to 240,000 fans across the country.

RUSSELL is the writer and star of BBC Three’s most successful entertainment show Russell Howard’s Good News, which is set to return again for series six this spring.

BARNARDO’S works with more than 190,000 children, young people and their families each year. BARNARDO’S now runs more than 800 services across the UK and the charity believes in the potential of every child and young person, no matter what they have done or what they have been through. They support them, stand up for them and bring out the best in each and every child.

CHANCE TO GROW were set up in response to the growing educational need in deprived rural parts of Western Kenya. Their vision is to provide education and care for disadvantaged children in Katale, Kenya, on a secure and sustainable basis as well as supporting Great Mercy Development Centre which provides a loving home for children with nowhere else to go and education for children who would otherwise have no access to it.

THE BATH RUGBY FOUNDATION was established in 2003 and is an independent charity that works with children of all backgrounds to improve and develop life skills and education using sports related activities. The foundation plays a vital role in the local community working with disabled children, children from disadvantaged backgrounds and those who are simply in need of guidance as they experience the difficulties of young adulthood.
