Last year saw CHRIS RAMSEY nominated at the festival. Avalon Promotions has staged major shows and tours including: NEWMAN & BADDIEL at Wembley, in the first ever arena show in the UK, which played to over 10,000 people in 1993, FRANK SKINNER’S Guinness World record-breaking performance to an audience of 6,000 (the biggest ever stand-up show at that time) at Battersea Power Station and Jerry Springer - The Opera which won 6 Oliviers, playing to audiences at the National Theatre, New York’s Carnegie Hall, London’s West End and the Sydney Opera House.
