Don't Get Me Started!

Avalon International is pleased to announce that the second series of hit factual entertainment show Don't Get Me Started is now available to the international market.

The new series of polemics in which well-known people are let loose on subjects they feel passionate about is produced by Liberty Bell for Channel 5, consists of 7 one-hour topical documentaries which brings the total number of episodes to 13.

In any case, it is less the host and more the issues themselves which do the talking, especially in the most recent episodes where the broader themes have a universal relevance. These include:

Why do we look after the elderly?
Animal Rights Activists are crazy
Why has TV become so cruel?
What’s wrong with Blasphemy?
Have we all gone mad about body image?
Can suicide bombers ever be justified?

Last year Michael Buerk caused a row with his personal essay on why men had become irrelevant and Rosie Boycott attacked what she said was the false grief surrounding the deaths of Diana and the Soham schoolgirls. This year’s polemics promise to be every bit as challenging and thought-provoking.
