About
Welcome to the world of the irrepressible Lee Nelson in Lee Nelson's Well Good Show, a comedy show recorded in front of a live studio audience which mixes sketches, stand-up and audience participation. Viewing figures for the show have been in excess of 2 million over a single week on BBC THREE, a breakout hit for the channel. The second series premiered in September 2011.
The host, character comic SIMON BRODKIN, performs as always-loveable south-London tearaway Lee, getting in amongst the studio audience to entertain them with cheeky banter, tales of mischief-making, and all manner of daft games - assisted by his best friend, fat legend' Omelette.
In between the studio-based chaos, Lee takes time out to introduce the audience to some of his favourite TV shows' featuring his characters: preening footballer Jason Bent, who allows viewers 110% access to his life in fly-on-the-wall documentary 110% Bent', bungling medic Dr. Bob, who puts the fun back into fungal infections in Hospital Life' and unhinged holiday rep Chris Young who gives Brits on holiday abroad the time of their lives in the exposè Faliraki Nights'.
So brace yourselves for some well good' fun as Lee unleashes his anarchic brand of good-natured ribbing, dubious life lessons and general scallywaggery. Qwaliteeeee!
'As comic inventions go, Simon Brodkin's south London council estate geezer Lee Nelson is up with the best.'
