About
In an intimate and unsettling documentary, Alesha Dixon (Strictly Come Dancing) examines the profound effects that witnessing domestic violence can have on children and delves deep into the subject by talking to both victims and perpetrators of this abuse as well as experts in the area.
In the UK alone, at least 75,000 children per year witness domestic violence at home. Alesha witnessed her own mother suffer domestic violence between the ages of eight and ten and has never spoken about the experience until now, twenty-one years later. Alesha finds her voice in the hope that others may be encouraged to speak out too.
