Live at the Electric assembles the hottest acts on the brink of super-stardom for a unique mix of stand-up, sketch and musical comedy, superbly hosted by the multi-award winning comedian Russell Kane (Live at the Apollo).

BBC Three has handpicked a collection of the hottest emerging talent currently getting the live comedy scene in a spin. Live at the Electric will, for the first time, accurately reflect the unseen breadth of the UK comedy world, uniquely blending stand-up, short films, quick-fire sketches and music... taking the traditional live comedy show and wiring it up to the mains.
Viewing figures for the first series were in excess of 1.4 Million viewers over its first week. Two further series are being produced in 2013.

The series will showcase a super-charged ensemble of the best new artists that the UK has to offer.
