Three Men In A Boat

About

Three comedians, Griff Rhys Jones, Dara O’Briain and Rory McGrath and one very nervous dog called Loli follow in the footsteps of the famous writer Jerome K Jerome in an attempt to recreate the most popular comic novel of the Victorian era. The trio rowed and towed an exact replica of the wooden skiff used by the author from Kingston to Oxford; enduring spats, gin palaces and tense nights of camping along the way.

The show has gone out on BBC TWO for three years running over the New Year period and has been consistently the highest rating show over the holiday period on that channel, bringing in an average of 3.5 million viewers each time.

“It has an inexplicably warm, home-grown charm.”
