About
The Royal Television Society and Rose d’Or award-winning Not Going Out, written by and starring LEE MACK, returned to BBC ONE for the much anticipated fourth series (6 x 30’).
The sitcom follows the jokes, jibes and general misunderstandings of happy-go-lucky Lee (LEE MACK), his best mate Tim (fellow BAFTA award winner and standup, TIM VINE) and his landlady and Tim’s sister Lucy (SALLY BRETTON, The Office, Green Wing).
Lee is stil desperate to win Lucy’s affections. But despite last year’s Christmas kiss, it’s stil not plain sailing; and it’s not just Lee’s complete lack of drive that gets in the way. Trouble seems to find Lee at every turn. Not only are friends Tim and Daisy (KATY WIX, Torchwood) - Tim’s ditzy girlfriend - on hand to cause problems but this year Lee also has to cope with stolen drugs, missing OAPs, long-lost daughters and a coma. A fifth series has been commissioned for 2012.
"More of the kind of class A one-liners that make this half hour absolutely whizz past each week."
