Avalon Television was founded in 1993 and is one of the leading producers of comedy and light entertainment programmes in the UK. This BAFTA winning company supplies TV programming to all the British terrestrial channels and the leading cable and satellite stations, as well as content for radio broadcasters. It has recently become the only UK TV company to supply direct to a US network with the American version of the Sketch Show being produced for Fox.
