Matt Braunger was born just outside of Chicago. An actor since childhood, Matt studied theatre in New York and improvisation in Chicago under such luminaries as Susan Messing and Del Close. He was a founding member of the seminal improv group The Seaning. It was in Chicago that Matt became a full-fledged stand-up comedian as well, performing in both the 2001 and 2002 Chicago Comedy Festivals. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2003, Matt has been in several acclaimed plays and sketch shows. He has played every major comedy stage in town, from The Improv to Comedy Death Ray and beyond.
